Reminder: You Must Manually Update Your Pending Listings to Avoid a Violation!
Please update your pending listings on or before the Estimated Sell Date. You must manually change your listing status on or before the Estimated Sell Date or MRMLS Matrix will automatically change the status to “P*” for you, indicating the Estimated Sell Date has passed.
Note: Members who do not manually update the listing status within 48 hours after the Estimated Sell Date may receive a violation from their Association/Board.
Remember, the goal is to have the most accurate MLS data possible. Last month, almost 200 listings were automatically changed to P* by MRMLS Matrix. Please do your part and manually update your listings to their correct status. If listings are sold, please mark them as Sold, if listings are still pending, please extend the Estimated Sell Date.
Listings are automatically changed to Auto Sold (S*) by MRMLS Matrix ten days after the Estimated Sell Date has passed.

Jan. 14, 2008-Add/Edit Be Back Tomorrow
Along with the MRMLS Matrix Upgrade
Add/Edit is unavailable today, Monday, January 14, 2008, while our Technical Team upgrades MRMLS Matrix. All other MRMLS Matrix services will be available for use until 8:00PM tonight.
MRMLS Matrix will return on Tuesday morning, January 15, 2008 at 6:00AM. The upgrade includes a new database structure with fields that have been re-organized into logical categories, updated Search Pages, Displays, and Reports as well as the new Add/Edit Module.
All of the MRMLS Manuals and Quick Reference Guides have been updated. The online videos will be updated in the coming days.
Two things to know about the new displays are:
1. The displays have been renamed to show which displays are OK to send to customers and which have sensitive information that is meant for agents only. Displays meant for the customer will have “Customer” in their titles and those meant for agents will have “Agent” in their titles.
2. The newest displays have plain English field titles with no abbreviations. You will be able to choose which view you like best. You can choose the new “Agent Full” display, or if you prefer the classic “Full” display, choose “Agent Full Abbreviated” from the drop-down menu (see below). Matrix will remember your preference.
Would you like to learn about the new Add/Edit module? Please join us Friday, January 18, 2008 at 10:00AM for live Web Conference training and discussion on the “New and Improved Add/Edit.” To sign up, go to: https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/958681616.

A new Add/Edit is coming to MRMLS Matrix on January 15, 2008
After January 15th, members will be able to use the new-and-improved Add/Edit to add listings with ease.
Not only is Add/Edit getting streamlined but the MRMLS Matrix search pages, displays and reports are getting reorganized to reflect the new structure. Best of all, the time it takes to add a listing should be reduced dramatically. For example, in Residential there will be only five steps instead of eight.

Auto Sell Now Activated in MRMLS Matrix
Auto Sell
Auto Sell has been activated on MRMLS Matrix. Sixty days after the projected close date all Pending listings will automatically switch to Sold. These listings will be marked with an * to show that they were updated by Matrix.
The sixty-day delay was added to give the agent a chance to make corrections if the Sold information is not accurate or has changed.
Auto Sell is not meant to be a convenience; members who do not update their listings with the proper status are subject to a Status Violation.
In addition, when listings are changed to Pending Status, an estimated COE date and projected sales price will be required. Listing Agent and Broker notifications will go out before and after a listing is converted
to Sold. Full Story
